City Guitar Festival To Include

Junior Brown will perform in a free concert in Bradley Park, Asbury Park during the first Guitarbeque.
The first annual Guitarbeque and East Coast Musician's Expo is scheduled for Asbury Park Aug. 20 and 21.

This unique weekend-long festival will feature live performances, a nationally sanctioned BBQ contest, food, beer tents, vendors, exhibits, and music workshops.

Guitarbeque will include more than a dozen performances by leading guitarists in range of genres including blues, folk, rock, swing, jazz and country.

Venues include the legendary Stone Pony nightclub, Paramount Theatre, and free shows in the great outdoors at Bradley Park with music by:
Johnny A., Junior Brown, Johnny Charles, Guy Davis, Robben Ford Band, Jorma Kaukonen & Blue Country, Lou Pallo w/Frank Vignola, Taj Mahal, Jon Paris, Gil Parris, Willy Porter, The Stargazers, Eric Warren, Jim Weider Band with special guest Hubert Sumlin, and others.

The East Coast Musician's Expo is a three-day music industry trade show that will take place at the historic Convention Hall and display custom, vintage, new and used instruments, gear, and accessories.

Admission to the Expo is $12 but bring a guitar and take $2 off. Children under 12 will be admitted free.
